Last night we decided to go to "the lot." "The lot" is where Grant's Dad is building a house for Grandma Great (Grant's grandma) and a house for Grant's uncle Dennis. In other words he is building two houses right next door to each other here in Redlands. We hadn't been to the lot for a while so I took the boys up there to see the progress that has been made (Grant was already up there with his dad). The boys were so excited to see the "digger tractor" as they called it and the huge pile of sand.

Brian didn't want to leave. He was having such a fun time rolling and playing in the sand pile. As you can see these pictures were taken after dark -- they were having so much fun they didn't want to leave, not even for dinner!

Carson got to drive the tractor with Grandpa Bascom. He was in absolute heaven! He loves tractors!

This is Grandma Great's house being framed! Grant was so glad I brought the camera because he wanted to take pictures of the framed house. Too bad that I didn't bring the camera out until after in got dark! Grant actually designed both house right before he got sick! So he is very excited to watch them go up!
Too bad I didn't take a picture of the bathtub after the boys took a bath. I think they brought home half of the dirt and sand pile with them! They really needed a bath and the bathtub was filthy dirty after we scrubbed them clean! Thank goodness for bathtubs and running water!

Exciting! Looks like things are going well. I love Fall. I love picking apples. My in-laws have 3 trees in their back yard. I picked seven 5-gallon buckets of them! And it didn't look like i had taken any off!
